My Coaching Experience and Passion
Becomes Your Marriage’s Second Chance

Welcome!  I’m Michele Moore, Founder of Marriage Mojo.

See that little tagline beneath our cute logo?  Those five words — “Because soulmates are made” — literally took me a LIFETIME to put together.

Like many of you, my personal experiences led to professional interests, and now I’m dedicated to mending marriages and equipping couples to reconnect in a powerful and lasting way.

Before you start on your own journey toward oneness, you may wish to know a bit about me, my own marriage, and how Marriage Mojo was created.

The seed for Marriage Mojo was planted very early in my career when I had a light bulb moment about the difference between coaching and counseling.

I had earned a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology, become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), worked as a psychotherapist, and established a successful private practice.  However, it wasn’t until I became a Certified Coach that I discovered that there was something remarkably different between what my coaching and counseling clients were experiencing – – and the results they were seeing.

COUNSELING
clients were:

  • Getting bogged down in conflicts and issues from the past
  • Taking very little positive action (and therefore, getting few results)
  • Returning week after week though it seemed they didn’t want to be there

COACHING
clients were:

  • Focusing on a positive and rewarding future
  • Taking concrete  and meaningful steps forward
  • Eagerly anticipating our meetings and realizing their dreams

These differences were both striking and intriguing, so I increasingly used a coaching approach until 2005, when I married my incredible husband Michael (more on him can be found on Our Team page) and embarked on a professional journey that included providing coaching, training, and consulting services to some of the most renowned organizations in the world (see list below).

Now I’ve returned to my first love – LOVE! – and am standing by to help you solve practical problems, deepen your intimacy, and create a marriage mission. If you are seeking to reconnect and recommit to your marriage, you’ve come to the right place.

about

Michael and I are devoted to giving back to others and living out the principles we teach.  Our volunteer work has included acting as ambassadors for FamilyLife “Weekend to Remember” marriage conferences, facilitating marriage recovery and enrichment courses, and serving as marriage mentors in our faith community.  This experience has confirmed our belief that soulmates are MADE.  It may time time and effort, but the end result is well worth it.  We hope you’ll allow us to reconnect YOU to your soulmate and help you create a new happily-ever-after.
