When you join our mailing list, which is not required to use the site, we may use personal information like your email address to provide marketing messages to you.  The types of things we may do include:

  • making suggestions and recommendations to you about goods or services that may interest you;
  • communicating with you on third-party social media platforms and sharing your information with that social media platform;

Who has access to your personal data?

We maintain access to all personal information that we collect from you or about you. Our third-party systems (such as scheduling and/or payment processors or social media business pages) may also retain some of this data, including your name, avatar, and location, etc.  When our services are made available via the websites of our partners, including social media companies, these partners and companies may also have access to your information.  Moreover, we may have links to other websites from our Site.

If Marriage Mojo is sold or merged, or if we sell or purchase any business or assets, we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets. We will strive to ensure that any such transfer is done in a secure way.

We will not otherwise disclose, sell, rent, or distribute your information to any third party without your permission unless we are required to do so by law or to obtain professional advice. We will retain your information for as long as is reasonable and necessary and no longer than required by law.

Where do we store your personal data?

Your data is maintained on the secure server of our ISP/hosting provider, by our partner third parties (such as scheduling, e-mail, payment, and CRM systems), and in our office(s).  If you leave a comment on the Site, this information, including your name, avatar, and comment, etc. may be stored by our ISP/hosting company, our CRM, or other systems.

For Europeans using the site, the data we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA“). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers or contractors. Territories outside of the EEA may not have equivalent legal protections to those that apply within the EEA but we are under a duty to make sure that our suppliers and contractors located outside of the EEA continue to take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy. We care about your experience with us!  Client reviews and other such comments are the lifeblood of Marriage Mojo, and all comments, feedback, information, or materials about us or your experience with us, submitted to us through the Site (including our Contact page, social media business pages, and e-mails), shall be considered non-confidential and available for our use.  Most commonly, we will use such comments on the Reviews page of this site or in similar ways on our social media business pages but commonly use first names and last initials only to avoid identification.

Aside from comments and reviews, we reserve the right to use any content you provide voluntarily in/through the Site to operate or promote the Site or our services, both now and in the future.  For instance, if you post a comment or share an idea or image, it may remain on the Site for an indefinite period of time and may be used to market our course or our services.

Likewise, we may use your story (or parts of your story) in blog posts, articles, social media posts, presentations, and other forms, provided that all identifying information is altered.  This may include combining aspects of your information with others or otherwise fictionalizing our account in order to protect your identity or better explain a principle or concept.

Therefore, you grant to us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, irrevocable, global license and the right to use (e.g., display, reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, adapt, translate, and otherwise exploit) any content that you upload, transmit, or post on our Site, provided that such use does not violate any other lawful right or cause material injury to you or any other person or entity.

We do not, as a matter of course, gather photos of you (unless you provide them voluntarily, such as when you install an avatar photo in your personal profile), but may ask if you would be willing to voluntarily allow us to use a photo of you (and/or your partner) in conjunction with your testimonial.  You may, of course, request that your comments and/or photo not be used in this or any other way at any time.  In this (or any other) case, we may elect to use your review in conjunction with a stock photo of another person/couple which may or may not bear resemblance to you and/or your partner to further protect your identify.



To use some of our services, you will need to register, obtain a password-protected account, and/or sign certain documents electronically.  You agree to provide accurate and complete information when doing so and take reasonable measures to maintain the security and confidentiality of your account, username, password, and related account information.  You also agree that, wherever used, your electronic signature is equal in all respect to your hand-written signature.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely fail-safe or secure.
